On the 31st of October I ordered the 123serv dedicated server hosting, After 2 days with no response I complained using the form on the website. On the 6th of November I was billed for the server however I didn't recieve any details about my order, no confirmation and no reply to my support email. I then sent another email to them on the 7th of November asking why I had been charged and not receieved my server or a reply to my previous email. Once again I got no answer and now I want to cancel the order and get my money back as my experience with their support so far has been terrible.
Has anyone else had problems with 123-Reg before and does anyone know how I can get my money back when they won't reply to my emails?
I am very sorry for your experience with 123-Reg. Did you ever get your server details? Do they have a number to call them that? How did you pay, if you paid by credit card, file a chargeback.
I never got any server details or any information to let me know they had charged me. I know that I haven't given them a bad email because address I recieved an automated reply when I registered on the website.
The only way to call them is on a premium rate number which i'm not willing to do.
I also paid with a Debit card so I don't know whether I can get my money back.
Call up your card company and see what they can do. Have you had a response from them yet? If not, I think it is time to look elsewhere for your server. Browse around these forums, there are many great providers.
I've still not had any respone at all from 123-reg. I sent them a fax yesterday and i've not recieved any information from them.
Until I get my money back i'm not willing to order from a different company but I've had a look around and i've been looking at fasthosts budget server which is £25 per month and can be upgraded at any time. Would this be a good option for hosting about 40 websites each getting around 200 hits a day?
