The support is at helpdesk says server disconnected due to billing issue. We make timely payments from almost a year and this is the response we are getting.
we recevied a list from billing of servers to disconnect. your server was on that list. we do not have access to billing information, and cannot confirm any payments. you have to wait for billing to confirm the payment and send us the reconnect order.
The fdc have been good, but don't know whats going wrong.
If the same happens to everyone the day isn't far for FDC Chicago
HHIC: In my opinion, specific billing issues should not be handled through public discussions in forums, but through direct communication with the provider. And if there is no resolution with sales/billing department, then it can be brought in public and have some discussion if the customer feels unsatisfied. But discussing it before even getting an official response from sales department sounds a bit pointless, because the only thing members can advice is sales' e-mail address which is what I and music recommended.
Not even the hosting provider (in this case, FDCservers) can help in a public discussion due to respect in customer's privacy. I suppose you wouldn't want your customers opening threads and getting internal information (i.e payment status, reseller pricing etc) that's supposed to be between your company and your hosting provider.
Anyway, if taranonline contacted [email protected], I'm sure it will be settled shortly. I am just probably a bit paranoid when it comes to privacy
Thanks and sorry if I went a bit off-topic.
taranonline: by the way, the hyperspin URL you provided is broken possibly during copy/paste in posts. I checked it by curiosity to find out if FDC brought back the box already
All (most) of the Data Centers send out an e-mail 24 to 48 hours in advanced regarding any billing issues before terminating service. I am guessing you did not get that e-mail. Then the question is why did you not get the e-mail and what can be done to make sure you get important e-mails from the Data Center?
