Thread: Cpanel Question

    Cpanel Question

I've come accross this a few times, and can't remember exactly what resolves it.

Unable to find out which user owns the parked domain example.com

That happens when I try to unpark a domain, and yes I do have root.

    you could try /scripts/updateuserdomains

    or

    cd /var/cpanel/users
    grep "domaintocheckfor" *

    Thanks, I had tried updateuserdomains.

I found a user with the domain in it and removed the line but didn't make a difference any ideas?

Try a grep in /etc. Also look in httpd.conf. I think that's about all the possible places there are to look.

YOu're going to need to remove the domain from /etc/localdomains, /etc/userdomains and a few other /etc/*domains files. Also, you'll have to remove entries from /etc/vmail /etc/vfilters /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf /etc/named.conf /var/named/domain.com.db and several other files which i can't remember right now. Just try editing the files i mentioned in that previous post, and tell us if it works.
