Be Careful Chronopay
Hi,
Be careful with chronopay, they frezed my account after 3 chargebacks from 600 transactions. Now they have placed hold on my payouts and hold at the moment 45000 euros, and a rolingreserve of 25000 euros.
The best, they have not even notified us any of this. BAD BAD
FYI used them for 8 months, done about 600 trans a month, used worldpay before
they cut me of due to new rules regarding pharmacies, they where the best.
If You find any good post it, need to change.
TomBoy.

Also if someone was holding $90,000 of my money I would do more just to sit back. I would call them or take a flight to the office to get the money released.

this is really not good, they should not just froze your account
Cheap offshore companies
Cheap Debit cards including shipment by regular mail. Cards work with paypal and 2checkout.

3 chargebacks on 600 transactions?
That is way below the limits as set by Visa/MasterCard.
Did all chargebacks occur on the same type of card, i.e. were all chargeback initiated by MasterCard users?
In our experience we get way more chargeback queries from MasterCard cardholders than Visa cardholders.
It seems MasterCard immediately initiates a chargeback, while Visa first searches for more information and is also at least trying to protect the merchant.
If you have had 3 MasterCard chargeback on a total of 250 MasterCard orders, they have every right to put a holdback on your account.
The RR should be rolling and refunded to you after 6 months, have they already started the refund of the RR?
However, it is important to retain a regularity in sales on the account or the holdback will only be increased as the risk on the account increases if you don't put through any sales.
I have mentioned it before: I would never go in business with a company based in Russia. It seems the head office is only the head office on paper.
They should continue the regularity in payments and put some smaller holdbacks on the account, not just freeze 45,000 USD.

By the way, did you receive these chargebacks over the course of your account or did you receive them all within a one month timeframe?
A processing company will look at the figures for last month, not the figures that represent the whole account hsitory.
If you have 100 orders and 0 chargebacks the first year and you hit 100 orders and 2 chargebacks in months 13 and 14, they will close your account, especially if these are MasterCard orders. (Visa tresholds are a bit higher than MasterCard tresholds.)

It is very funny that there are so many "old" porn webmasters that open new billing companies. If it is correct what haimhle says, then I know who he is too.

Dear Tomboy,
As representative of ChronoPay I sincerely regret the situation as you have described. It is our company policy that before processing is being stopped, the merchant always will be warned first and that the merchant will be provided with an action plan in order to reduce fraud. And, of course we are not stopping processing if the chargeback ratio is not higher than the required level.
Could you please contact me through a PM in order to discuss this issue outside the forum? Can you please also inform me on your client id?
We will investigate this situation more closely.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.Ido Schiferli
