Does your client need something to just start with, or is this a high traffic website which requires significant bandwidth and disk space?

No. Just basic bandwidth and disk usage but plenty of features.

What size site and do you have a monthly budget?

Are you looking for any specific Microsoft technologies in addition to Windows OS?

Is your client looking to host multiple domains? MSSQL? relibility? or just a simple site with one domain? What is the budget?

I have been with Aspnix for about 4 - 5 months with no problems.

    Me too.

While popular culture makes you believe Windows is not a good server platform, that's not necessarily the case. I do think that Windows is more susceptible to security issues, etc. though. But it all comes down to the server admins; a server is only as good as the admin behind it.

The whole industry could really do without such flippant, uneducated, 'advice' such as this.
