I was checking ChatStat, and this feature is really cool:
The ability to conduct live chat with both website visitors and any of the supported IM clients (AOL, ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, GoogleTalk, and Skype) using a familiar instant messenger interface. ChatStat FREE comes with completely unlimited live chat for five operator seats per site, and you can have as many sites as you wish at no additional charge
Chatstat is poorly developed, and has incredibly poor support. I would highly NOT recommend using their protocol at all, unless you're just asking for problems.
When I used their setup, MSN barely worked, ICQ would crash the program automatically, and it was just a mess. They say they've fixed the MSN bug, but still nothing about ICQ.
Personally, I'd rather use a proper protocol, one that's updated and whatnot, for my IM chats, and keep the website chat to itself.
Now if you're after a PAID application, check out providesupport.com . These guys have an excellent application and it's not let me down once. The price is a bit much for multiple operators, but for a small business it's not bad.
