Host Bulletin Boards
I was curious how usefull everybody thinks Host moderated bulletin boards are for dealing with support issues and such. What about messaging systems like AIM, MSN and ICQ? Are these sorts of things prone to abuse?

Forums are very good cause they can help most of your customers thus decreasing direct inquiries. You have to put some effort in them at the beginning though but it pays off after a while.

Umm there are various services that allow for them to speak with you live through your site. I tend to avoid bulletin boards.

Why do you avoid BBs and what services do you prefer?
