I've got a Windows VPS running Plesk 7.6.1, unfortunately a couple of the domains that I have hosted on it are receiving a hell of a lot of spam.
At the moment I don't want to spend any more money on additional anti-spam measures but I'd like to make sure that I'm getting the best performance out of the tools that are available to me. So, has anyone got any tips on how to best configure my server to minimise the amount of spam getting through to peoples inboxes?
Yep it's just the standard Plesk installation with Spam Assassin, I have it enabled but I'm not sure if there's anything else that I can do, for free preferably! I've heard that Spam Haus can be integrated with Spam Assassin but to be honest I've got no idea how to go about it. Any clues or advice is appreciated
I think you would have mailenable on your VPS, you can turn on RBLs like spamhaus, spamcop etc from the mailenable admin. I have a rough draft flash demo on doing this if you want to know.
Here is a link to it directly: http://jodohost.com/tutorials/mailen...nable_beta.htm
Please note there is no clickable ads just the initial branding for us on this, I am not doing to advertise, only to help, ignore the first 5 seconds of the flash and you won't know where it came from
