    mime types

I need a video tutorial to play in Firefox, which it will not. I read that the server needs to have the proper MIME type extension. I did a search and the following page ( gave me a few:

    application/x-oleobject WMV
    audio/x-ms-wma wma
    video/x-ms-asf asx
    video/x-ms-wmv wmv

I entered those MIME types in via the Mime types link on the cPanel and I am not seeing the video play in my Firefox browser. Please advise. Thanks.

    cpanel stable 10x
    centos 4.4
    phpsuexec enabled

Are you sure that you have the proper embed/player software within the page~? The MIME type entry won't promise to make the video play within the page but rather that the MIME type will be understood as a particular kind of file. In the case of the examples above, the Web server will understand that the file is a video file and either Windows video, Windows audio or whatever you specify within the type.
