Recompiling PHP on Plesk 7.5.4's admin httpd?

I need to change some PHP configure options for Plesk's admin httpd, and therefore need to recompile it. Is there an easy way to do this?

    Hey there,

The best way to recompile PHP for Plesk on a linux server is to recompile php using the sources. The only problem is that you have to check the php version and download the sources, and also it would be best to let the guys here know what OS do you have on the server.

    See ya!

If you use redhat or Centos, then installing the php source rpm and modifying the spec file is another option, to keep things in the package management system, although compiling sources is generally more straight forward.

You could also get the pre made rpm packages that these folks provide for plesk, add their repository to your yum.conf and simply yum install them (or download and install them)

More info at their site is available. Even the swsoft forums would be a good place to look for plesk updates and upgrades.

    Good luck
