    F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions):
    1) Can I run IRC and Adult material on my server?
    - Yes, you can as long as it's legal Adult stuff and as long as you request to run IRC.

    2) How come the prices on your website are different from the ones listed here?
    - This is a WebHostingTalk special, so you will only get these prices if you contact me through e-mail ([email protected]) and let me know you are from WHT.

    3) How come your prices are so much lower than the ones listed on FDCServers' website?
    - As a reseller, they give me discounts which get bigger the more servers I have with them. Now my discounts are great and I can repass them to my customers, thus the prices are very low.

    4) Can I sell VPS using my server?
    - Yes, you can.

    5) How much for OS Reload?
    - Nothing, OS Reloads are free.

    6) Are these servers managed?
    - No, all offers are 100% self managed.

    7) Is my server really unmetered?
    - Yes, you can use as much bandwidth as you like and you're connected on a 100Mbit shared port unless stated otherwise. You can expect from 5000-9000 upload transfer monthly from the 100Mbit shared servers.

    8) Test IP? Test file download?
    - 66.90.66.1. Please ask me for a test file.

    9) How's is your network?
    - BGP mix of Cogent, Telia, PCCW and WVFIBER.

    10) How can I pay for my server?
    - Currently we only accept paypal, that means you can use most of your credit cards to pay with, but only through a verified paypal user.

    11) How can I order my server?
    - You can either PM me here or you can send me an e-mail to [email protected]. Also you can go to http://www.cbras.com/offers.php and subscribe for your server using your paypal account.

    12) How long will this offer stand for?
    - This special is valid up to November 4th, 2006.

Any question? Feel free to ask, I will answer them as soon as possible.

    Hi,

No, they don't. As the bandwidth is shared, you cannot expect 32000GB of transfer monthly, but if you check their TOS, they state that you can expect from 5000GB to 9000GB monthly from your server. However they do not state that you will be capped or limited. Please check their TOS: http://www.fdcservers.net/tos.html

    Regards,

    Hi,

First of all, your post is against this forum's rules. Secondly, FDC is one of the best DC's if you're not hosting anything that will be constantly receiving ddos attacks, for they do not offer ddos protection. If you wish to host shoutcast, websites, and such things, I do not know any other DC with this quality and price paid.

Please do not post this kind of message on people's ads. WHT has a section for posting experiences you have on DC's.

    Regards,
Firstly, I would like to know how it is against the rules? I was simply asking for a client of ours who is interested in unmetered servers at FDC, secondly how was this a review of FDC.

    Thanks for your reply.

    Hi sir,

I'm sorry, I didn't give that answer to your post. I gave that answer to a post another person has given. I must have clicked on top of the wrong post when I replied. I have given you the answer to your question stating that FDC does not do that and that you may check it on their tos: www.fdcservers.net/tos.html. The post to which I gave that answer has already been deleted by the forum's administrator.

    Again, I'm very sorry.

    Regards,

    Hi,

That information is not disclosed by FDCServers. What they do say is that you can expect an average of 5000GB to 9000GB of upload transfer and full 32000GB download. (according to their TOS: http://www.fdcservers.net/tos.html)
