Question How much for a 30$+ daily revenue domain ?

    Hi,

how much do you think I should sell a domain name which gives me 30$+ daily revenue using Adsense.

I have around 70$/monthly fees to run this domain.
    No advertisement needed.
    Established website.
    No work to do.

I will not disclose the name of the domain neighter the nature (but it's all legal and not adult oriented).

    Regards,

    G

Some say websites are worth 1 year's revenue. Adsense though can be very volatile especially if most of the site's traffic is from search results (I've had a couple of sites that got devastated in Google updates)...so I'd say less.

You are right, although there must be a price for such revenue generating website.

    $30x365 - $70x12 = $10k x 80% = $8k.

I think so. It's really a good formula for estimating a domain.

Of course you'd need to prove the figures over the last year. A few days revenue stats probably wouldn't cut it, coz they can be manipulated.

The main thing which should be taken into consideration is the source of traffic. As it has been mentioned already, Search Engine traffic is not that reliable, due to updates.

While calculating the approximate value of the site, I would say that you should also take into consideration factors like: time cost (Operating cost) and growth projections.

Depending on the nature of the site, a very volatile market would be a smaller multiplier, a larger and more stable market I would aim higher. If you have the latter I would at least ask for a couple years revenue, up to perhaps 5.
