hi guys,

I am very new to dedicated stuff. If you take daily backup of a ecommerce site at 7 AM in the morning and due to some reason the data is lost, for a busy ecommerce website you loose the data for 10 hours.

So is there any way to prevent even 10 min of data loss

You can replicate your SQL data to a remote location to keep the most up to date data possible.

You can rsync your physical code / images / etc on a 5 minute interval if you wish.

In general you won't have any code changes within that 10 hour period themost important data is your database.
