Where do I get started?
Hi guys, I want to give web design a shot, but I don't really know where to get started. I'm capable in Photoshop and ImageReady, I basically understand how to design and slice a template, but on the coding aspect of things I really don't know where to begin.
Does anyone have any recommendations of tutorials or other methods I could use just to learn the basics of how to code a template? Thanks in advance.HostingChoice - Shared and Reseller Hosting

Grab yourself some paper and a pencil.
There are two methods to learning how to code.
1) Basic Book Style - learn from reading, tutorials, etc.
2) Break down - Take a site that you know uses the code you want - like CSS - view the source etc - and then start manipulating to see what does what and why.
3) Combine 1 and 2
4) Secretly hire someone else to do the coding for you. (kidding of course - or am I?)

Thanks for the tips, on option 4, is that legitimately a possibility? Honestly I have no desire to learn coding, and if it were possible to have someone else code for me at a reasonable price I would definitely be all for it.
(unless you were kidding in which case of course I am also )HostingChoice - Shared and Reseller Hosting
