    * Problem with sending email

    Hello

    I have encountered a problem with webmail

    when trying to send email from one created email from server, then it is not received at the target.

    I have tried /scripts/fixwebmail

    chown: cannot access `/usr/local/etc/cpanel/base/webmail/data': No such file or directory
    chmod: cannot access `/usr/local/etc/cpanel/base/webmail/data': No such file or directory

    and I check and in the /usr/local/etc there were no cpanel directory.
    what should I do?

    Thanks

    Is both the sending and the receiving accounts on the same server? Are you getting any error messages.

    Check the log at /var/log/exim_mainlog and watch for a error message.

    There isn't any cpanel directory at /usr/local/etc. Looks like a problem with the fixwebmail script.

    The /scripts/fixwebmail is old and will no longer work.

    As Dacsoft has indicated, check the Exim logs (perhaps /var/log/exim/mainlog) and see if there is an error while trying to send an email.

    Also, which webmail program are you using? Have you tried another?
