I'm yet to understand why they used that as the default scheme (XP). I think it was described best as windows dressed in a clown suit

I use the silver theme myself - a lot more muted, and almost KDE looking.

Anybody interested in a custom-built FTP client? I built one a few months ago, and just let it sit around. I am getting ready to start revising it again. I'd love some input that people have, and I'll let you keep a free copy.

If you're interested, send me a list of features you'd like to see that aren't in some of the popular app's, and I'll send you a copy when I'm ready to test.

Yeah I know. In the past it gave you like 99% load sometimes and you had to close and reopen it but not anymore

I'm sticking with ws-ftp. I took a look at the new CuteFTP and deleted it right away. I couldn't see myself looking at that skin several times a day. Like OKIHost said...blame it on MS.

I used CuteFTP in the past, until i found the entirely Free (WS_FTP). WS_FTP is very basic, but has all the good features.

I use CuteFTP Pro 2 - very very impressive piece of software, and a lot faster than the main CuteFTP programs.
