Pentium 4 Hyperthreaded or Dual Core?

I'm currently selecting a dedicated host and the processor choice is p4 3ghz with hyperthreaded or dual core? Is there a major difference between the two as the dual core is an extra $5 a month? Is it worth the extra money or is hyperthreaded good enough?

Dual core for sure. HT can be flaky, and can sometimes give worse performance. True dual core processing will almost always give a performance boost. And $5/month is peanuts for that upgrade.

I'd go with the dual core since it has an updated design (supports faster memory etc) The p4 architecture in general is rubbish.
