What the heck ?? AboutUs.org
I just found this web site.
I hate this...
I don't want them to talk about my web site.
My competitors can write bad things about me... this sucks.
So.. what.. I have to put a blocking tag on robot.txt ?
...
What do you guys think?

Robots.txt wouldn't work, AboutUs.org isn't crawling your site...There's nothing you can do, really.

Oops, disreguard my post. I thought AboutUs.org was just a wiki site.

Sucks, I tells ya.
They should ask us to be a part of it... and I should join ONLY if I feel like it.
They do whatever they want to do and they ask me to accommodate them?
I cannot believe this...

I'm sure that the pages will be edited reasonably well, and comments that are flamatory/unnecessary will be reported.
Aboutus.org simply grabs any "about us" link , which is pretty common. In addition, it allows for you to watch your own domain for comments added to it.
The idea is quite unique, actually. I'm not too sure about the contact information being given freely (ie: addresses), however, the rest seems reasonable. If you don't like it, as was said before, tell the robots to not go there . That's what robots.txt is for, anyways, telling search engines what to do, where to go, etc.Tom Whiting, WHMCS Guru extraordinaire

Not that I'm a huge fan of sites like this. There are better regulated avenues for discussing the merits of a business than a wiki free-for-all, but regardless, thanks for the link! I've updates a few listings

This reminds me a bit of 'Stumbleupon', one of my sites received praise from there
