    Angry What's Up With Page-Zone?

    I've got sites down, disappearing email, vanished databases (with critical data), and furious customers. Been going on for a week or more. P-Z totally non-responsive...not answering email, phone calls, or ticket submissions. I know there was a drive failure last week on the server I'm on and a Cpanel patch that went less than smoothly a couple weeks ago, but, AFAIK, those problems have been fixed and accounts/sites restored on a backup server. Now there's *no* indication on their site of any problem, but there's *nothing* in the way of response to my support requests. I'd like to at least retrieve my data.

    Anybody know what's happening there?

    I'm sort of angry at Page-Zone at the moment... They hired me as support staff, and I was alarmed at how many tickets were open! I still didnt have access to actually solve many problems which frustrated me to no end! I can't access their ticket system now either... I also didnt get payed for the tickets I DID solve. Sorry hillbilly57, it seems like you will be waiting for quite some time! I would say more about Page-Zone but I do have SOME values!

    Sorry to hear it, IceCreamMan. I *do* know that their helpdesk system went down and it's been raining server crashes, drive failures, etc. there, according to the little bit of info they've posted on their forum. It's just frustrating to hear *nothing* in the way of response to some pretty serious problems I'm having. I don't care so much about the sites...I can FTP to a new host, if need be. The loss of db's is heartbreaking, though.

    Pagezone has been in business for a long time.
    I'm not sure what's going on with them.
    Did you try to call their support number?

    Yes...several times, during and off business hours. And I tried the number published with their WHOIS info. I reached voice mail once on their support line, left a message, and got no return call. The rest of the time, the phone just rang unanswered.

    Their website went down again yesterday, but it's back up now. Forum posts and support tickets are still unanswered. I've always had a tough time getting support response from Page-Zone (I chalked it up to getting what I pay for...they *are* inexpensive), but this particular scenario has been going on for a couple of weeks now and it's catastrophic; all my sites have been down going on two weeks and, according to Cpanel, databases with critical data have disappeared.

    Very frustrating.
