    IP aliasing

    Does anyone know how to configure IP aliases and how one goes about doing so?

    UltraDNS: What OS are you running? If you're running Fedora, an easy way to do it would be the following:

    netconfig -d eth0:1
    netconfig -d eth0:2

    etc...

    ok that helps - so i would just purchase the IPs from my ISP and then assign the aliases through this process - anyone have any positive experience and affecting your SEO process? i read that somewhere (be it not worthy source) is there any truth to creating a virtual presence if my datacenter is in sweden and i used IP aliases to create virtual presence in USA, UK etc.

    Sorry if that makes no sense
