Yes the download speed was showing 8.7MB/s, but what you have to keep in mind, is that the download didnt start immediately. That was really strange, but it takes roughly 2 minutes before the download window even appears.
So my guess is that for a reason which I am unable to confirm yet, that a cache was somewhere in between , perhaps at my service provider ?
It just doesnt make sense 8.7 MB/s over such a distance,( I mean not in the public internet as of yet).
This morning I did the same test again. First of all the download window comes up immediately now and then I get some stable 100-110kb/s which is probably more or less what I would have expected from the connection.

That depends where your customers are that you want to reach ;-)
Only you can answer that question.
The ping / download times itself are certainly not bad, but they could also be better (at least here from Tokyo).
Hopefully the support is good in case you need it and speak an understandable english
- or whatever language you would prefer ;-)
