    * OS that you can remotely connect

I know with servers with windows you can use the REMOTE feature is there another one that is not charged alot for?

I see all these that are available I just dont know which one allows remote like any windows OS would.

    EX:

Centos - Ubuntu - Fedora etc. Just curious since I am reading alot for possible future use. Ubuntu preferrably I hear you can and its like windows desktop and FREE where I am looking. Confirm?

You can use SSH on any *nix system or remote desktop on windows, but from the sound of things you need a mgmt. company.

I might be wrong, but wouldn't RealVNC accomplish this on a nix system?

But if your needing to use the desktop on a *nix system to manage it, you might need to hire a company to help.

VNC server will indeed allow you to start (multiple!) remote X sessions. This package comes free with CentOS, Ubuntu and Fedora. Those OS's are free as well.
