    Surfing via VPS

    Hello,

I'd like to surf the Internet thru VPS. Is that possible?
I do have a root access, and I don't want proxy:

Only surf: no site administration, no downloads, no site intalled: Simply, to surf the internet.

The problem is that I want to do it via linux/apache servers, as Windows is expensive. However, in windows, I would have had MS Terminal Services, as it's embedded/inherented inside windows.

I wish someone could guide me please.
    Thanks

You can setup a PPTP tunnel on your VPS:

    Also look into http://www.openvpn.net

You can either enjoy the text-based browsing of lynx or you can proxy your connection.

One benefit could be no cookies etc if you are surfing at work ..
