Would you like to stream video in DVD . HD quality?
Vircas introduced the most advanced DVD and High-Def Streaming Solution
The player is the first in a $2 billion space to offer full-screen High Definition quality video and audio to those who publish video on the web.
Video producers and distributors have been among the first to license the solution citing VMP as a more effective means of generating sustainable revenue from viewers who, until now, have been unwilling to pay for programs online because of the lack of video quality. Distributors using VMP are also experiencing tremendous cost savings by distributing over the web instead of costly pack and ship methods.
TV networks and web video delivery leaders, such as Google, Yahoo!, and YouTube have stepped up their efforts to boost marketshare for online video despite growing concerns from content providers around digital piracy. Vircas boasts the most advanced Digital Rights Management solution removing the ability for viewers to retain any content on their computer.

Vircas offers a full-screen DVD and HD quality video streaming platform called Vircas Media Player (VMP). VMP, built on proprietary technology, enables error free transport of high bit rate video over the Internet without congestion or network latency. The player contains a sophisticated digital rights management protocol that eliminates the storage of content on a viewer's computer.
A pretty cool solution. Could you please tell me how it actually happens on a user side? A user installs your player, ads a video to it - then it is encoded and published on specified web site right from there? Or does the player simply encodes the video? Also, how do those without an installed player view the videos?
I am just curious out of personal interest. Thank you.
We provide a customized player for each of our clients. We encode and upload the video for them from their DVDs. Then make the video(s) viewable from their website with a link to their Vircas Media Player.
Users then just have to download the player, make their selection from the video library and begin watching.

We are currently working on a "public version" that will allow users to upload and share their own videos, create channels and all that. We should be ready to launch it in December, if everything goes well.
For now, our clients are sending us their DVDs, which we encode and upload to our servers - both the storage and bandwidth costs are in our side.
Our customers (movie distributors, real estate agents, professional business trainers, and others) don't really care about encoding and uploadng their own content. They are glad we do the work for them
Regarding the fast forward and rewind features they will also be introduced with the public player. Since we do not download anything to the user's machine it's a bit difficult to rewind, but we found a way to do just that so...
Thanks again for checking our player.
By the way, agents and reps are welcome. We will have our site transklated in French this month and more languages will follow. We really would like to tackle the european market.
