Ok, this doesn't have anything to do with web hosting, but this is the most active forum and you've helped me out before. I need advice on how to handle a customer.
The customer claims they never received their order, I have a tracking number that says otherwise. I have proof it was sent to the provided address and exactly when it was delivered. Now I understand shipping mistakes can happen (ie: delivering to a similar but wrong address, or doorstep theft, maybe they gave me the wrong address even). And looking at it from the buyers shoes, I would be upset if I paid for something and never got it due to a shipping error. But as a seller, I see the package was delivered and that was my part of the transaction.
What do I do? Take the loss and refund the money, take the loss and send them another order with the risk of that not being received as well, tell them too bad? Honestly, I don't know if they are trying to con the money and product out of me or if they are legit about not receiving it. Any ideas on how to proceed?
