Just curious, Has enyone ever been able to run apache, with plesk on windows? I'm asking because i already run an apache on windows, with BIND9, PHP, not SQL because it's just a test lab enviroment as of now. What im wondering is if infact i can use plesk for windows with apache (win32) on windows with bind9 and msSQL and still have it function correctly? If i can not, does anyone have any suggestions, besides running IIS? I don't really like the security and features of IIS to be honest, and i find that apache runs better then IIS as far as windows goes, plus on windows everything is pretty easy to manage.
Yeah, i'd assume off the top of my head, with experince in both languages, that it doesnt seem all that hard. The php script would inject the VB file/script and the vb project would be responsible for writing to the apache, mail, ftp, dns, mysql server(s) etc etc.. UNless, i can just make the php script do that, perahps..but however i am worried about the security of php. OH well, perhaps i'll sling up my team of programmers from back in the day and make something work out. Anyways, yeah it will be disclosed source, atleast untill all the security and bugs are worked out. Dont need some open source for all of the Hax0rs to get ahold of yet till' it's secure
