X3 Cpanel Skin
What do you think of the X3 CPanel skin?
http://cpx3demo.com:2082/login/?user...c&pass=x3democ
This is going to be the latest default cpanel skin once CPanel 11 becomes stable. Share your feedback and suggestions on the new skin, what do you like or dislike?Last edited by 1Ali; 10-14-2006 at 05:22 PM.

I think its a improvement to x2 looks pretty cool although the green small circle icons on the left menu look a bit jagged.

Those are not circles, it's the infinity symbol

I think it looks pretty organized and clean. The current skin to me is functional but quite dated. definately a fresh new look
the inifiniti icons do look pretty jagged and could use a bit of love

I think cPanel should start over, because that's just looking nasty.
I'll stick with my Plesk skins.

I was actually starting to like it until i had a proper look and clicked on MySQL Databases:
http://cpx3demo.com:2082/frontend/x3/sql/index.html
Talk about making things harder, what was wrong with the single page for MySQL?
Not sure if any other pages have been changed like that.
[edit] finally, the 200 post mark

Rvskin in my opinion looks like early 90' graphics. the icons are pretty ugly. I think Rvskin could easily amp up their skin in little time and quickly become a great looking skin that reflects on more professional appearance instead of something that tends to appear at first glance - outdated.

Pretty nice skin, it definately has some great features..... I'm not quite sure I dig the leaves header graphic, but I'm sure that can be changed... Other than that, it has some great functional value.... I love how you can collapse the sections, since 75% of the functions in cPanel I don't use on a regular basis, so now I can simply hide them. Also, the menus are draggable.... That is a great idea! You can put the sections that you use more often towards the top....
Definitely has some great potential

They really need to stop trying to use the infinity sign, as it makes the skin look even worse than it is.
I can't believe they're actually paying people to do this...

Hopefully, the slowness of page loading is due to their Server and not the theme.
What I like is the look is a tad better than the current 'X' theme and top marks for providing the ability to move Catagory Tables around and drop-menu setup for Stats.
On the 'bad' side, they still haven't figured out how to stop double listing of Installed Perl Modules.• PotentProducts.com - for all your Hosting needs

• ServerAdmin Services also available

It's definitely an improvement to the X skin and looking forward to using it but over the years the "X" theme has become so standard any new default skin is going to be an adjustment.

From the looks of X3 - I dont think you will have to adjust too much. it basically the same with some nice added collapse and new icons.

Personally, I've seen all the work put into this and I think it's a great improvement. Not so cool with the infinity sign..but other than that, it's definitely looking good..good things to come.
