Do you have the option mentioned as "submitt" or say add now etc. I do not find that in the software I have downloaded.

I haven't used the software yet, but I think it does/should keep records of everything you send in order not to send it twice/oversend. And it probably has a database/list of lame/not so lame article sites to submit your articles to.

Does this seriously work? I mean, I clicked on one of those sites and there are tons of "articles" (ads). Who reads them?
    My Hosts?
Siteworks for my single account. "Pretty darn good, for years now."
And now all my eggs are in their basket.

I did go back to another site to get another feel of it, and I did one site where I found myself reading a few of those.... even though I knew it was an ad in disguise.

    Hmmmm.

    Hi there,

Many thanks for the list of article sites. This has more than doubled the number of sites I had found manually,

I'll also take a look at the automatic article submitters.

    All the best

If you have a website worth promoting, there should be an economically sound way to do it with a scalable advertising solution (e.g., AdWords, Overture, banner solutions, etc.). If there isn't, it probably means the site isn't worth the space it takes up on the internet. I wouldn't be suprised if there wasn't a single person out there who built a website of 5,000+ regular users by "posting articles".

Are you suggesting that article submission is of no use in web pormotion.
As far 5000 plus regular visitors, can you suggest a "single, sure, method" to do it as you have also suggested 3 methods with one 'etc'
The point is that there can be combinition of method as suited to a particular site owners style, needs and so on.

Article Post Robot is not actually free. It's actually selling for about $127. I'll try the other submission tool and see how it is.

Regarding if traffic comes from Article Directories, I can tell you it sure does.
I run an Article directory(http://www.bylamoarticles.com) and so far this month, I've had over 800 unique visitors and about 25k hits.
People reading or publishing these articles are more than likely going to visit the authors website.
Although i've had my directory for about 4months, I only started writing articles myself after seeing the benefits it was providing the authors.
Just last week, I submitted a couple to a handful of directories (about 10) so I cannot provide first hand benefits, but I can see the benefits its providing my authors everyday, so I'm sure it works!

Any one who knows the mechanism of acceptance of artilces by the directories. I mean do we just submitt and they accept. How do we know about our atricle being there etc.

Each article directory has submission guidelines. For my article directory, I require a minimum word count, max 3 links in bio box, no link in actual article amongst other criteria.
Obviously if you submitt a badly written article or a blatant sales pitch, then you can be sure it'll be declined.

    P.S
PLR articles and re worded articles would also most likely be deleted

Auto-Posting software is not actually bad. I have a few authors using auto submission. (Actually a lot of my authors do)
As long as your article is of a high quality and meets standard guidelines, then you can be sure it'll be accepted by 99% of the directories.

    Standard Guidelines Include:
    Minimum 500 words
    No links in article
    No HTML codes in article
Max 3 links in Bio Box
    No hard line breaks
    "Title Case" for Article Title
Write your own article (i.e don't use PLR or reworded articles)
Avoid long strings of continuous sentences. (makes the article look tedious and boring)
Proof read articles to correct spelling and grammer errors (we all make them)
Don't use MS-Word to write articles. Or if you have to, disable "curly quotes"

That's all I can think of at the moment. Hope it helps
