LF: Dedicated Server
We are looking for a new provider, we have had serious downtime issues with our current.
Here is a rundown on our requirements:
cpu: 1 ghz +
ram: 512Mb
hdd: 40 GB or 60 GB
ips: free with justification 10 to start
transfer: 300 - 400
os: freebsd 4.5
We are also trying to find a provider who doesn't charge those outrageous setup fees. We require this box A.S.A.P. If you think you fit the bill, please email all offers to ph3n1x@istop.com
Thank you in advance to all who apply.
Regards,
Chris

The Webhosters aren't allowed to promote or recommend their own web host in this forum.
You might have better luck posting in Web Host Request forum or check out the Special Offer forum , I am sure that you get better responses there.http://www.batchimage.com - Offering Batch Image Processing and TIFF/PDF Software Solutions

Chris, I saw you offering dedicated servers, why are you requesting a server now?

Try www.staminus.net tell them "edude from wht" sent you, they will remove all the setup fees for you.
I have been using them for a while now, great uptime and supportLast edited by edude; 07-30-2002 at 02:38 PM.

Oosp, sorry. I did a search on his post and didn't notice it was a while ago.
But my question still stands: Why would a dedicated provider himself be looking for a dedicated server?

I have enough evidence on my hand to believe Logicchris is chris from lightone. If you wish to dispute that, please layout your support.

You are still making assertion without support. Notice the distinct absence of any support in your statement.
I didn't asked for more statement, I asked for evidence.
For example, how do you know that logicchris is a client and not Chris/lightone himself? What is your relation to logicchris?

Character bashing? Good question, I wonder who first started calling people "morons" (hint: you)
If you are a friend of logicchris, why don't you get him to post here and explain why he is selling servers and network access that belong to nocsol?
Or if you want, you can address that yourself.

i guess its my fault for starting this suggesting i thought you were him (which in fact i did), but i mean if someone used your account to start a thread, it's not exactly our fault that your account got used and we got duped, blame the idiot who used the account to start the thread in question.

How did your account fall into the hands of that person?
For the record, you can't blame us for "jumping to conclusion," as you called it. If I see a thread posted by you (or your account), how am I supposed to doubt that someone else used your account? Afterall, you do have password, right?
I don't think anyone is jumping to conclusions. If what you said is true, it was an unfortunately incident, but at the very least, no one in this thread has "jumped to conclusion."

Drop it would you... the owner of staminus is a poster on WHT and goes by the nick of Toro, so i do not own staminus if thats what your getting at..
And i have recommended rackshack a few times (last time i checked they were low cost)..
I've only attacked cogent, do you have a problem with that?

2) RackShack, don't they use cogent?
3) I have a problem with your Nocster/cogent attacks because they're baseless. You've never used Nocster and can't attest to their QOS; as for Cogent, you recommend another Cogent provider, so again, attacks are either hypocritical or baseless.

3) You're just angry because I caught you cahooting.

Because the wht special is pretty old now but the owner said he would do it for anyone from wht so he would know they are from wht if they told him edude send them..
I oculdnt careless about a discount - thats for people who use nocster
