    parking server !!

    Hello,

How can I create a parking server. What I want is whenever a customer registers any domain thru us, their default nameserver are set to park1.abc.com and park2.abc.com.

I have my own servers, So I can do anything needed on the server end as well I have full control on my domain registrar control panel end.

Can some one provide me a step by step procedure for setting up the parking server.

I guess it will be all making some changes to the httpd.conf file and may be setting up the wild dns.

    Thanks

The simplest thing is to allow default nameservers and tell your registrar to automatically point the domains at: http://www.yourparkingserver.com/park.html

    Or wherever.

    Hi,

If I do this way then it will not show the customer domain name, instead it will show the server domain name which is not a real parking and the customer may not like it.

Thanks for the input. I will try this too.

You can tell it to cloak the domain with most registrars.
