I can't wait for it to start snowing here in Ohio. They're calling for it by tonight/tomorrow morning.

I'm really looking forward to the days where it drops foot, 2 feet in a matter of 2-3 hours like it loves to do unexpectedly in early winter/late spring from the Lake effect.

Snow? Geez. I was sat outside 'til 2am on Monday evening in shorts and t-shirt with many beers. Saying that, I woke up to lots of rain and mist this morning. All in favour of hibernating during the winter shout "I"!

I can't wait to move state side where I can guarantee snow every year, unlike Britain where it is very hit and miss.

Snow sucks. I pity the people that have it regularly. Snow is good for like a one time ocurrence per year.

It snowed here in Holland, MI as well. It was pretty interesting to drive at the beginning of October and have snow falling.

    Uhhh no we won't.

I like my cold. I get to play some good ol hockey game at the outdoor rinks. Can't really do that anywhere else warmer.

Indoor rinks maybe ? I played outdoor hockey and almost lost my fingers because of the -30 celcius cold, on top of that it was windy.

Edit: I see we're both posting here and at DSLReports

Yeah. Nocked over trees, the Buffalo Airport is shut down. The Canadian side got it pretty bad as well, but not as bad as Buffalo.

I think the exact measurement was 22.5 inches, but still an amazing amount of snow fall for October!

Man, I've never seen 22.5 inches of snow in England in my life, yet we're as far north as Hudson bay.. Damn gulf stream.
