Who is a good and reliable reseller host?
I am looking for a firm that sells reseller accounts. Nothing too crazy, looking for about 2-5gb of storage and 30gb of bandwidth (I'll probably not use any of those limits though).
I want a good and realiable host with a solid reputation for customer service, uptime, error-free config, etc.
It seems like most big hosts are not offering reseller packages anymore, why not? Looking for recommendations. thanks.

I havent personally noticed companies not offering reseller packages but you might want to list a budget and any other custom things your looking at getting with your reseller account.

Check this page:
http://myidealhost.com/reseller.shtml
I am not sure if their reseller packages are what you are looking for. However, I use their shared hosting for my email and it is really good. I haven't experienced big problems with myidealhost. The server where my account is located is pretty stable and I don't remeber when they rebooted the box because it was overloaded or something like that.

I prefer CPanel, and am currently paying $20/month for 3gb/40bg with 50 domains, a similar account and similar price range is what I'm hoping to find, with the option to grow in the future.

As far as sites not selling reseller accounts anymore, I went to a handful of large hosting sites and couldn't find any reseller plans. I called one of them and they stated they don't do that anymore and couldn't even think of a company selling reseller plans to recommend me to.

Here is another one:
http://autica.com/
and seems Autica is a part of midphase. I am sure, midphase is a big hosting provider.

There are plenty who do offer reseller accounts -- there are only few, however, who provide decent support. You should be able to find what you need for a price between $10 - $30.

try webserve.ca
this company is amazing!
has a great support. but their reseller program has some limits, and may be over your budget, if you are looking to host over 20 domains.

my two cents as I read through a lot of the msgs in this forum...
there are a LOT of hosts out there, but two names that keep coming up are resellerzoom and hostgator -- both in reputation and price. hostgator's cheapest plan is more than RZ's but RZ's cheapest plan doesn't offer any support and is very limited.
I went with RZ for now, because of price, but as I develop these 25 sites, and start to grow my reseller biz, I'll either upgrade with RZ or find another host.

I use both HostGator and ResellerZoom. Both highly recommended.
Be aware though that overselling is not enabled on HostGator's reseller plan.
And for ResellerZoom, I recommend going for their Advanced Reseller plan where, by the way, they offer enduser support for your customers.

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. ResellerZoom looks good - but they don't offer telephone tech support.
I decided to sign up with http://autica.com/ so I hope everything goes well!

Not to scare you, but did you searched about midphase and autica before?
