I think he wants to advertise his site, but not pay for it.

At leat thats how I see it.

Your best bet for that, is just post your website in your signature at various forums you go to, use good keywords in your metatags on your site that describe your site. You might be able to find a few sites that will have a link to you on their main page as well....just gotta look around.

Think about article writing. You can start at,
    Ezinearticles.com

Rather than a free web site, think about a
free blog. Free web sites gain less reputation.
For blogs it doesn't matter weather it's free or paid,
what is important is updating content. Here are
    some starting points,

    Blogger.com
    WordPress.com

    * hey

hey, yeah i want to in a way cheat. lol.
So you are suggesting putting links on other websites. don't i need to ask to do that?
Whats the difference between a web site and a blog space thing? I thought a blog site was like a single page of journal type.

    thanks for the help

I assume this is about article writing. No you don't have to ask.
You are the author, so you have the right. If they want to publish
your article they should leave your signature intact.

Whats the difference between a web site and a blog space thing? I thought a blog site was like a single page of journal type.
A blog is more automatic than a web site. Presenting, order all these
things are controlled by the back-end product. You just have to type.
If you choose a web site, then you also have to deal with technical
    things like HTML.

A blog looks like a single page. But that's only the front end. It contains
all the posts you made in its database and fetches when users request
    past posts.

Blogs allow categories where you can categorize your posts according
    to the subject.

In blogs, visitors can comment to posts you make. This increase visitor
interest and also produces free content for you.

There are lot of other benefits. Only way to know is trying one.
Try one of two I mentioned. It doesn't need a penny to start.
Both services include great support for newbies to get it done.

For monetizing, you try Google AdSense when your blog becomes
    popular.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!
