    OS for my new Dedicated

    What OS should I be using for my dedicated server i plan on leasing

    I plan to use it to put hosting clients on.

    Barton 3000
    1GB RAM
    160GB HD
    1500GB bandwidth
    10Mbps port

    I would recommend CentOS latest & cPanel, good luck.

    I was thinking Cpanel because it's more popular and I have used it a lot more.

    I like how direct admin is simple though.

    Should I go w/ CPANEL?

    I would reccomend cPanel then, not only that, your clients/future clients will most likely be familiar with it, and/or like it.

    DA is lighter, and less of a hog, but has less features, and a lot of people don't know it as well.

    Plus if your familiar with cPanel why not use it?

    Yup, CPanel with CentOs as mentioned before. Cpanel will make life easier for you.
