    Hello!

I was wondering if you would be interested in our affiliate program.

OR, give me some pricing for placing a banner on your forum?

    Kind regards,

Now my question is.. What would be a good asking price for the banner placement. Thanks in advance!

So much for, "This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential..."

What do you feel advertising is worth for the site? I think it depends on how many views, how you calculate the advertising (per month, based on total unique views that month, or CPM, or ???), etc. Maybe get with some similar anime sites with similar traffic and see what they charge...

    Umm....

matchmaker = dating service. Your site is an anime site!

Having run an affiliate-review website once, I would get bombarded by such emails. Basically it is spam ... they are hoping that you put up their affiliate link. If you reply with your 'prices', they end up just ignoring it or replying with a standard template of 'too high, suggest you still check out our affiliate program' and then they proceed with a sales pitch.

Also ... the email is from noveltycrystal.com ... which has nothing to do with either website ... hrmmm

Pretty interesting. We just received the same email, to a reptile forum that we run. For a minute there, I thought it was legit

They have come and spammed the forum. My advice is just to delete it as they were apparently just spamming members (sorry about that). If anyone gets anything, please forward it to us and we'll take care of it.

    Hey Chicken,
I really don't think the email we received was a result of WHT. It was sent to an address that we only use on the sites homepage.

Well that's good to know. I am pretty certain they were banned due to posts on the forum anyhow (I actually didn't handle the issue).
