    Installing yum

How? I've searched here and the internet and I haven't found anything. :/ I always get the error

There was a problem importing one of the Python modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was:

    No module named yum

Please install a package which provides this module, or
verify that the module is installed correctly.

It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:
    2.2.3 (#1, Dec 24 2004, 22:39:19)
    [GCC 3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-42)]

If you cannot solve this problem yourself, please go to
    the yum faq at:
    http://wiki.linux.duke.edu/YumFaq

http://wiki.linux.duke.edu/YumFaq is useless and I tried the way they said to and it still didn't work. I upgraded my python, etc. I don't know what to do now :/ Could someone help?

Yeah, what OS are you using?

You can install an RPM of Yum depending on your Distro of Linux. Go to http://rpm.pbone.net/ and do a search for "yum" and you should be able to find one. Then simply rpm -ivh the file and it will install. There may be some dependencies, install as instructed.

I'm using centOS 3.3. I got version 2 installed but each time I ran a command it told me there was a 404 error. I have WHM but I don't see anything to install as an RPM.
