    Spam gets even worse!?

    Hello,

I just got a spammessage which is sent to my webmaster address, but the sender of the email is also my webmaster address, however I didn't sent spam to myself obviously . I have an own server (VPS), but does that mean someone is using my VPS to sent spam or did someone just used my emailaddress as sender? How can I protect my smtp and pop against this? I already have spamassassin running on my server.

There may be chances your mailaddress is spoofed by spammers. Can you paste the mailheaders here...

The ip-address in the headers isn't the one from my server.

Just for your FYI: When we google this IP, check this URL http://1001newsgroups.1001annonces.c...t=521&last=560.
