It has been 1 month since I registered a domain name with Hostway. I am not able to add name server for my new domain because the link is not added into my page.
I emailed to them and they responded that they will escalate to their staff in charged of the domains registration. I emailed them again a few days later when there is no reply and got the same reply as the first time. When I emailed them a third time, the reply came back with a word "[SPAM]" in the subject of the email with the same reply. What is this? Hostway placed my email in the SPAM list? Hostway does not want my business, is it?
My site is ready but I am not able to add new name server. I am stuck here. Hope that anyone kindly give me some advice on how overcome this name server problem. Appreciate any help.
Avoid at ALL COSTS: Ipower, Yahoo, GoDaddy, RegisterFly, 1and1.
Thanks, Stan. Great list. I nearly go for GoDaddy. Never try Yahoo domains before but Yahoo web hosting support is very bad. My site can go down for 24 hours and Yahoo support would reply after 48 hours to say "We found nothing wrong with your site". My experience is Yahoo web support always reply after 24 hours.
Hostway is a joke when it comes to domain names. I still can't figure out why because their hosting has been (or at least was) decent albeit expensive.

I've been using Hostway since early 2004, and I find them extremely easy to navigate. Go into SiteControl, choose Doman Name, and at the top of the page select "my nameservers." I have several domains registered with them, and I've moved around a lot.
