Intro: HC-Sam
Hey guys, I have a hosting company of my own, and was referred to the site by a friend. So far, it seems very informative and will probably be a great asset to me over the course of the next few months.
Im thrilled to be here and look forward to being a part of the community.
-Sam
PS: I've hit 5 posts now about 3 times. Why do certain posts of mine keep getting deleted? :[

Yeah same problem here, I've made like 7 posts by now
This forum requires that you wait 90 seconds between posts.
- also an absurdly long flood control

Well for the record it's the longest flood control I've ever seen on a board lol

Ok lost on that last post lol, and I think 90 seconds is pretty ridiculous, boards with 30 second flood control are bad enough.

The best things come to those who wait, why wouldn't that apply to posting on a forum?

Haha I won't even go into my level of post whoring, I'm used to posting on forums where my only goal is to get as much discussion going as possible to keep threads active, I suppose on a site of this scale that's not necessary.
On many threads I agree that 90 seconds is fine, but sometimes a long answer isn't exactly needed, and yes I do read quickly if that's relevant.
Also I noticed that I recieved a warning because apparently someone thought I was spamming to promote HC, that's not the case at all, I am quite the post whore but I have no intentions of becoming an obnoxious spammer in order to promote a site, all that would accomplish is negative attention associated with HC.Last edited by HC-Josh; 10-04-2006 at 04:42 PM.

I think 90 seconds is fine, but thanks for the welcome I learned the rules the hard way and rather fast at that haha

You guys have nothing on me. So far I have accumulated the following:
a grand total of 4 alerts! and a while back they stopped giving me the alerts completely...
also my more prouder achievement is a staggering 55 warning points and 4 bannings (the longest was for 2 years!)

Haha I have a WHT role model already, impressive.
lol well I usually get banned because I'm very opinionated to say the least and its very hard for me to keep my mouth shut when I don't agree with what someone says or does, but I'll do my best to avoid that here lol. I'll stay out of the social forum, that's suicide in there

Well you don't have to worry about me as much as Josh, I own the company and he's still learning the ropes .... therefore, I'm here to learn and be cooperative, and possibly advertise in the future.

You know you guys could just...
turn around and talk to each other OR pick up the phone and tell each other this stuff
no need to involve the entire forum in all your intimate exchanges

Fine, I'm done spamming this thread, I can see when I'm not wanted.
