    high load

    my server has been crashing alot latly and its dew to high loads i know i havent overpacked it but i cant find out whos running the script thats causing the troble. whats the bes way to see which account is casuong the problem or the loads on each account. cos when my sevrr crashes 2 times in a week even if its a quick fix it causes me to lose on my reputation.

    im usieng direct admin so not only does each user get their own account but so does each process so i see apache mysql named as usernames and their all top none else is their. is their any other way of finding out who it is

    yeah "top" command will tell u which process is eating ur resources..

    That won't work if it's a normal configuration. it will point to the process but not who's using it. apache is run as nobody, correct?

    That command will show only processes using resources and the script path.
    Should give you a start in determining which script/account is using a lot of resources.

    c is the real user but it's going to show you apache, mysqld etc. That's my point. it doesn't tell you who's using it.

    e places is right that picture is exactly right and that tp -ic command does show some intresting stuff but not what i can use. any thing else i can try

    sloved

    ok all soved i set max conections through my my.cnf so i think its all working

    i will fiond out when i go home and now i supose i can find the mofo who was killing my server and ban him.
