    Best for video editing

    Hey there!

Are Apple computers best for editing video?

I believe they come with software already bundles....Final Cut Pro? or something.

    Any response is appreciated!

    Thanks

Well it depends what hardware you have, a Windows machine with a Matrox video editting card is going to be better than a standard Mac.

How advanced are you going to get? Windows comes with Windows Movie Maker which is ok for most things home users would want to do. After that the next step up is probably Adobe Premier Standard.

Final Cut Pro/Studio is probably the best out there for personal use.

I use ulead movie factory on my pc... well, 100% of the time. Ulead is simple and is easy to use.

I did not like the software on my mac... don't know why... guess I did not work with it long enough or something. I don't even remember what it was... it was whatever shipped with the current version of OS X.
