    SoftLayer - High Pings?

Just pinged my server at SoftLayer and I'm averaging 136ms. I pinged softlayer.com as well and it's the same thing. However, I have pinged WHT and Google as well and the averages were about 20ms. Is it just me, or?

Shouldn't you have done that before creating a thread?

It only became an option shortly after.

Post a traceroute. Perhaps SoftLayer can open up a ticket with their providers about it if it's a routing issue. Though, for inbound stuff there is not much that can be done.
