three things I can recommend:
1) Get back links from reputable sites.... focus on anchors.
2) Offer orginal content as mentioned earlier but also think of keywords along with it.
3) make your site unique, easy to navigate, and last make it search engine friendly.

of course I assume you have already submitted it to search engines.
