    Tyan Transport GT20 + CentOS 4.4 x86_64

    Hi,

Can someone please confirm if the hardware in the Tyan Transport GT20 is fully supported by CentOS 4.4 x86_64? (I.a.w. "out-of-the-box" with no addtional drivers that need to be installed)

    Thanks.

The Centos 4.4 x32 definitely works so I would be suprised if the x86_64 didn't work

I'll be installing a 3Ware 8006/2 hardware raid kit into the server, but would like to use the onboard HT1000 chipset/SATA controller for a backup HDD. I've read about some incompatibility/driver issues about it on several forums, but the HT1000 chipset should be supported from CentOS 4.4+. Can someone confirm this as well?

    Thanks again.

CentOS 4.4 does have kernel driver for on-board HT1000 controller. done that many, many times.
