depends on what you are putting in that 1U, is it a P3 or is it a Quad Dual-Core 1000W Opteron

    2x old Xeon 3Ghz.

    From the specifications:

Under typical line conditions and over the entire system ambient operating range, the inrush current may reach 40 A per power supply for 5 ms or less and 60 A per power supply for 1 ms or less.

For cheaper bandwidth, I say around $250 to $300

For premium IP, it should be around $400-450

Why's that? What if rackspace costs around $40-$50/month...

I mean for bandwidth only...not sure if the thread starter was asking about rackspace as well.

Also, what the title says, east us, west us, central?

East US is best, but Central US is good too. Only 1 server, dual physical Xeons.

I would say $150.00 would get the job done

You can go with a lower end solution the 40-50 rack space solutions usually have issues, such as onsite generation and cooling. To keep the server correctly you are going to be in the 150-200 range there are a lot of providers on here that you can email and ask for quotes.

$200 or less? $50 for the rack space and $15/Mb on just a 10Mb/sec commit? Seems awfully low to me. I guess you guys enjoy operating on razor thing margins.

On this forum, hosting providers are not allowed to quote on such things (good thing). Please look in the offers section, or contact the above mentioned hosts as directed. Good luck in your endeavours.

Do you think it it is to much or less to pay?

Seems expensive to me anything above $20.00 a meg.

$20.00 is a very good deal for cogent within a fully meshed network!

At least you know during spotty times you are still up.

Cogent will probably be the cheapest bandwidth
