    What is this?

    The below command is grabbing the most CPU usage, please let me know what is this?

    /usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir/ --datadir/var/lib/mysql --usermysql --pid-file/var/lib/mysql/ --skip-external-locking

    Well, it is your MySQL server.

    It is likely a database user is using a lot of connections.

    mysqladmin processlist

    will show you current connections.

    mysqladmin stat

    will also show some basic info as well.

    You can of course try restarting mysql

    service mysql restart

    in /etc/my.cnf

    max_user_connections = 40

    restart mysql.

    Keep in mind that limits every user to 40 connections.

    note:This goes under [mysqld]
