Talking Review my new site mockup

    Hi,

I know this sound a bit unusual bit I want you guys to review a mockup I made for my new redesign of my site.

The mockup can be viewed here: http://www.protinium.net/new/mockup.jpg

Reason its just a mockup is I don't want to waste my time building up the whole site only to be told it looks crappy.

Of course, the actual site will look a bit different from the mockup, text placement, graphics and such. I just want to know if you guys like the general design/layout and colors.

Don't be afraid to say it looks awful, I need constructive criticism. I want to have a design that screams "wow" to my potential clients. I'm not expecting anyone to think its better than Pixelbrick or anything, but definitely one of the better design sites out there.

I hope you kind of understand what I mean by all of this. Please leave your comments here

Hmm... looks very nice. I like your colour scheme.

The header/logo looks a bit empty with only the text, though... Maybe add a few more graphics to it or make it a bit smaller?

There is an island of opportunity in the middle of every difficulty. Miss the island, though, and you're pretty much doomed.

    Thanks

As for the header, I'm going to include a nice logo if I do decide to go with the design. That should fill it up a bit.

its a pretty clean and classy design...
I would probably take a bit of height out of the header.......

but apart from that, it has a nice professional feel to it......

    cheers

Excellent design, easy to navigate, attractive color scheme, and fast loading.

Hey, I was just wondering: what program did you use to make the mockup? It looks really nice! I was just wondering, because I use Paint Shop Pro for my graphics. Just so you know, I'm not trying to rip you off or anything. I own an NSync fan site.

Oh, and where did you learn to make such awesome stuff?

Thanks for all your kind comments. I am going to use this design.

NSyncVillage - I use Photoshop 7. I'm not that good with it, but thanks!

iamdave - Rajawwf? I'm not the guy who owns it. What's the URL, as when I typed in rajawwf.com it went to a porn site

NumLock - Lol, not sure what he meant by it either

    Thanks everyone!

vigor said "Excellent design, easy to navigate, attractive color scheme, and fast loading. " was he reffering to the mockup pic? coz it a jpeg file, and u cannot be sure that its 'fast loading' in real html format.
