    Best Mailserver Program for 2003

I seek to buy a solid mailserver program for Windows 2003.
I need webmail, mailadmin, Imap, Maillists, Virus check, and a rock solid spam filter.
    Any recommendations?

We tried Merak but the spam filter on this one sucks actually, and the userinterface is far from simple so we receive tons of support requests on Merak and wish to switch mailserver program.

Another vote for SmarterTools / SmarterMail -- we use them, it has everything you listed, but you will need an external antivirus program.

    Smartertools/Smartermail gets a 9.5/10 from us.
Add Declude Security Suite if you can afford it and you have a rock-solid email delivery package.

But I see smartermail comes with a virus package included, so why is that?

It doesn't come with one included, you need to install third party software and smartermail will interface with it.

Does SmarterMail allow you to set up an alternative SMTP port so the sender could use port 25 or the alternative (in case 25 is being blocked by their isp)???

    Thanks.
