I own many article websites, if I buy targeted traffic for my adsense website, will I receive a decent amount of clicks, click throughs?

I wouldn't agree with you on that.

Buying targeted traffic means people are interested in such websites (articles one) and the adsense displays ads for such people. In fact you are paying to get people who have a better chance to be interested in those Adsense ads. It's the best thing you can do for Google

They won't ban you for sure, neighter terminate your account. However they may thank you with a nice payment if many of those people click your ads willingly !

Use a real time Google AdSense monitoring system

Study your server logs and watch for any activity that seems suspicious. Report anything that you may find odd, may it big or small thing.
