Recently our power went out. When I restarted my computer and got on the internet later that day, I noticed that all the search engines were gone from the top right corner (previously it had google, imdb, amazon, ebay, etc).
Also, everytime I open a Firefox window it is "sort of" maximized - that is, it's almost as large as a maximized window but isn't actually. Plus, the bookmark toolbar is showing and I"ll be damned if I can figure out how to stop it from coming up in every new window.
Any ideas? I tried un and re-installing Firefox but that didn't work. No recent add-ons were added; they're the same ones I've had for months.
<edit> Also, please don't turn this into a IE or Opera or Firefox is better - I just want to figure out how to fix the above problems. Thanks<?php echo "Signature here"; ?>

If you don't want to do that try this: Max window thing... try to max it out, then shut down with the red x... then restart... should be at max now.
Also, I agree no IE or opera or firefox.... I would say switch to Mac... use Safari. It is better... and I dare anyone to refute that claim....
(just kidding..)Windows 10 to Linux and Mac OSX: I'm PARSECs better than you. Eat my dust!!!
